In 2018 we had our last holiday as a family of 3 (although Sophie travelled in utero!). It was Phoebe’s second trip to Dubai and we stayed at Altantis, The Palm which is on a group of man made islands in the shape of a palm tree.

It was Ramadan at the time so we were unable to eat or drink in public in daylight hours. Tourist spots including malls and theme parks had hidden away areas areas that non-Muslims such as ourselves were allowed to consume food and drink. 

As a family we love Dubai and the experiences it offers. This trip we explored all that Atlantis had to offer – Aquaventure, the world’s largest waterpark, and the Lost Chambers Aquarium. Motiongate had recently opened and was devoid of crowds so we rode all of the attractions in record time.
