Food & Drink of Istanbul

Istanbul was full of fun and new tastes, it had lots of spices and Turkish delight shops! There were also lots of tea shops, which we tried and they tasted delicious, absolutely mouth watering. Ranging from small to big foods we tried them all, here are some of the food and drinks we had:

Me/Phoebe: ice cream, Turkish delights, chips, burger, chocolate, sweets, corn on the cob, plain bread, flavored fruit tea. homemade lemonade, ice tea and Börek pastry.

Sophie: ice cream, sweets, coke, homemade lemonade, corn on the cob, Turkish delights, chips, sprite and bread.

Craig: corn on the cob, Turkish delights, fish kebabs, clay pot fire chicken, sweets, Turkish tea and water.

Sarah: Turkish tea, chocolate, Turkish delights, homemade lemonade, fish kebab, clay pot fire chicken and water.

  1. Who would have thought that you can buy food in Istanbul??
Any other amazing things to see? Beautiful Churches/Mosques, grand Bazaars, Golden Gate Bridge?.
Probably not – that corn on the cob looks delicious though.
