Planning is underway for our next trip! We are devising a route around the world using a combination of transportation including plane, car, train, bus, boat and foot. Our first flight is to Athens where we plan to learn all about Ancient Greece and eat all of the moussaka. From Athens we will travel on an overnight ferry to the island of Lesvos and then after a few days of island exploration we will catch another boat to Ayvalik in Turkey. Our plan from there is to drive to Istanbul then fly to Cairo.
From Cairo we will plan our next stop which will most likely be in the Middle East then onwards to Asia. To complete our loop around the world we plan to fly across the Pacific to North America then across the Atlantic to the UK.
We all have our highlights and plans for where we are looking forward to going. Craig is always looking to go ‘off the beaten track’ and discover new places, such as Myanmar. I am excited about visiting some countries I have never been to, including Vietnam, Cambodia and Egypt. I am also looking forward to revisiting some areas I have been to in the past, including Sri Lanka (where we got married!) and Hawaii. Phoebe is keen to go to Seoul to discover everything about Kpop and Sophie is looking forward to Japan and searching for her favourite Sanrio characters.
