This is a blog post featuring a day in our life! I have included prices, information and photos.
We started the morning by packing up all of our bags and then headed into a tuk-tuk, because we had loads stuff with us there was not much space left for any of us. When we arrived we went to a snack shop and bought stuff ready for the journey ahead of us. When we got onto the train we found our seats and sat silently. It was one of the most beautiful train rides in the world and it was really fun hanging out of the door. The train took about 4 hours.

When we arrived at our next guest house we went to our room and it was definitely not what we were expecting, there was duct tape on the floor, dirty walls and uncomfy beds. After we had checked in we walked to a local cafe called the Tea Train, I had a cake and lime iced tea, Sophie had a hotdog and my parents had a drink and tea cake. Cost:
Entry to park 1700 LKR (£4.60)
Postcards 300 LKR (£0.81)
We were all hungry so we decided to go to a pub and get a drink and some food for me and Sophie.
